The danish talent James Braun (yeah, had some problems typing this name) recently got my attention with his edit of the highly championed ‘Footcrab’ of Addison Groove. What a great idea to slow down a uk-funky track and making it to something new. A fusion with house, resulting in a innovative track which I have my problems categorizing it.
Beeing not a No-Name, he already brought out an EP on Deadfish’s Mothership Label and recently released his second EP ‘Symphonia’ on the danish Tartelet Records, along with remixes by Claude VonStroke and the label-man himself Tomas Barford (aka TomBoy).
