Dirtybird‘s J.Phlip (pronounced J Flip ofcourse) has made her way to the top league of DJs. Coming from near Chicago originally, she started (probably like everyone) with a pair of half-broken Turntables and a mixer, not knowing that one day she would become one of Dirtybirds official members. Her style of housy ghetto, booty bass is remarkable both in her dj sets and productions, like in this recent bootleg of her and a dj set I picked out. Interesting description of the mashup too.
