On the finnish label Top Billin comes finally the ‘Quiet Riot’ EP by Manare aka Riot Kid. An orient-flavoured EP containing three originals and four additional remixes; the starter track ‘Voodoo’ is quite characteristic with its creepy horn-melody, while L-Vis 1990 sends it deeper into the jungle with a bouncy loop and some extra shouts. A slowed down version comes by French Fries & Bambounou, which I digged really with its melody use and anthem-like style. The other two tracks are coming in a brighter way, a nice fix by Merk Meny by the way cause the original was too fidgety for me, which also gets stripped back by the duo Femme En Fourrure in their known style.
